<\/span>The owner Ant\u00f3nio was born in Alentejo and grew up in this land. It was at Praia do Malh\u00e3o that he discovered surfing and since then has never stopped.<\/span><\/p>

Surfmilfontes History<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

SurfMilfontes opened its doors in 2003 as the first <\/span>Vila Nova de Milfontes Surf School<\/span>. It was founded by Filipe Queimada and Pedro Piteira, two surf professionals from the region who were also the surf instructors of most of the team.<\/span><\/p>

Initially, it was established as a <\/span>Vila Nova de Milfontes Surf School<\/span> for local children and primarily functioned as a surf club. As tourism in the region expanded over the years, we started welcoming students from all around the world and eventually became one of the highest-rated <\/span>Vila Nova de Milfontes Surf Schools<\/span>, with over 1000 excellent reviews on Google.<\/span><\/p>

Today, we continue actively supporting the surfing community by helping local organizations take kids surfing and aiding with environmental causes.<\/span><\/p>

Our location as a <\/span>Vila Nova de Milfontes Surf School<\/span> offers some of the region’s most consistent waves. We are privileged to have this unique location, inserted in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast National Park; the landscape around us could not be more inspiring for surfing.<\/span><\/p>

Winter in Vila Nova de Milfontes is very special for surfing. It is when we have the best waves for more advanced surfers, so we can have surf lessons even at this time of the year.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Safety is always our top priority, and we adapt our lessons to meet each student’s needs. We have a maximum of five people per instructor, which allows us to give each participant the necessary attention and offer a more personalized service. Our team consists of local surfers and experienced instructors accredited by the Portuguese Surfing Federation.<\/span><\/p>
